Known for 1922, Chauri Chaura sees industries die

Known for the 1922 Chauri Chaura incident during India's freedom struggle and later for a flourishing leather and pulses industry, the town is now just a shadow of itself. An hour away from Gorakhpur, Chauri Chaura, is set to vote on May 19. Since 2014, claim those who were involved with the trade, changes in govt policy have more or less finished off the industry.
