Opposition slams PM for remark on Rajiv Gandhi

Opposition leaders in the state on Sunday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for describing former PM Rajiv Gandhi as ‘Bhrashtachari Number 1’ at an election rally in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Targeting Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, the PM had said, “Your father was termed Mr Clean by his courtiers, but his life ended as Bhrashtachari No 1.”
