Ramzan sweet endings: Seviyah makers get busy

In Hyderabad's old city, the tradition of hand-made ‘seviyah’ (vermicelli) continues in some families despite the invention of machines that can make the noodles-like sweet dish for half the price. The hand-made seviyah though tastes better and are still preferred. Seviyah is a staple Ramazan dish, a special variety of which is synonymous with Eid celebrations.
