Thane: Dombivli MIDC pollution turns roads pink

In Dombivli MIDC Phase 1, every passer-by was taken by surprise on Tuesday and Wednesday by the pink colour of the roads.The locals blamed chemical powders from industries in the MIDC area for changing the colour of the roads and informed the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and others concerned with pollution control.
